A commission to engage over fifty young people and the local community in the creation of artworks for the park. The aim of the project was to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages and attracts people of all ages to use the park. A key aspect of the project was involving young people and enabling them to learn new skills, learn about the wildlife value of the site and to develop pride and ownership in the local area. Inspiration for the artworks came from the book 'Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame. The project was funded and supported by Groundwork Trust, United Utilities, United Futures and Warrington Borough Council.
