Project: Citadel Arts Centre
'Bernadette has been delivering a number of arts based workshops for us here at the Citadel, primarily working with individuals with moderate to profound physical and learning difficulties. The response from the group has been fantastic and they are looking forward to Bernadette's return to the Citadel. The group worked on producing their own mosaic photograph frames, mirrors and placemats. This was challenging enough to engage the group yet also simple enough to produce great looking work which has tremendous benefits for the participants self esteem and overall well being. Of course, Bernadette is an accomplished artist and a compassionate individual and this shows with not only the quality of work, but also the care and attention she gives to participants to help them achieve their best. I would highly recommend Bernadette for leading arts based workshops and I am confident the results will be fantastic.'

Project: Rainford Linear Park
' Bernie Hughes has been a frequent visitor at the Children's centre over the last few months. This has been primarily to create pebble mosaics. Children from the local school, toddler groups, families and a local child minding group have all had the opportunity to contribute to making beautiful mosaics which will landscape the Linear Park and will be enjoyed by local families for many years to come... the groups have been very well received by the children, teachers and parents alike. The children are very keen to be part of the 'bigger picture' and have shown a great deal of interest and enthusiasm for the project. I believe the children have had fun, learnt some great skills and have contributed to something great. It will be a shame to see the groups end and hopefully Bernie will return one day to do more with us. '
